Kane and I did some Duos and ended up getting a back-to-back Victory Royale! It felt incredible! We chatted mostly and Brook even chipped in to drive a car to me when I had to go take an allergy pill after I started to have an allergic reaction. What a strange night, haha!

Omar asked me to play some FFXIV with him and one of his Discord buddies, and I had a good time! It was nice to be invited to play with someone since it had been a while since Brice and I had played. We did all of our roulettes and I ended up with a Lvl 57 Machinist which is great! Going to play more again soon hopefully - I hope Franco is a person I can be friends with in the future!

Squeezed in a little more time playing Fortnite with the fellas - up until the air conditioning went out and that cut the night short... Luckily, after calling maintenance, I was able to come back and snag a solo Victory Royale before officially ending the night.

Alright - I play a loooot of Fortnite, haha! Epic has an addicting game loop, no doubt, and I actively participate. But it is fun and, at the end of the day, that is all I care about! Did some solo, ranked matches and had a couple of second places finishes. Then we assembled the crew and really showed some kids how to play! Play dead, haha! There was an epic interaction where I killed an entire team after Kane and Davey bit the dust. I wedge our car in an awkward position and this team allowed me to systematically wipe them out by sitting in the passenger seat and using the machine gun! We did not get the Victory Royale that game (as incredible as that would have been), but we did manage to eek one out at the very end. All it took was smacking around a Boba Fett with my big fists!

Omar invited Kane, Davey, and me over to his Discord for some Wormtown! It was a lot more enjoyable this time around with other people to share my struggles, haha! We had a good time though and the people in that Discord seem cool, for the most part. Juan came around and we spoke to each other for the first time in years. It was seamless - wish those guys had stayed in tough. Oh well!

HECK YEAH - FALLOUT SEASON!!! Epic got money out of me for this season, haha! The Wasteland theme is already my favorite aesthetic this game has had in the time I have played. Driving around cars with machine guns and grenade launchers like Mad Max, picking up Nuka Cola, and duking it out in the Nitrodome is pure absurdity! Kane, Davey, and I had a blast! Megla Don is so far the best play on words in the game, hands down.

Kane asked me to hop on and play some Fortnite with him and Davey, so I came back a little sooner than expected. But for a good reason! I was getting down in the dumps not talking to any of my friends (specifically Brice), so when I got his message it made me perk up! We did pretty well and I had a gnarly team elimination! No Victory Royales, but I feel like when the Fallout event happens, that will be when we pop off.

Kane and I decided to game it up! We got our butts whooped in most games, haha! It was still fun getting to talk about life, plans, jobs, and eSports. I want to see if he would be interested in joining my YouTube channel now that Summer has rolled back around.

After Fortnite, it was on to Halo. We for once got to be on the other end of the typical booty spanking which was nice. The only problem was Brook's brother, Justin, was ranting the whole time in the background. Then, for whatever reason, he started shouting obscenities at me, when I was entirely silent. Getting tired of the people that hang around Kane attacking me for no reason...

May the Fourth be with you! We celebrated Star Wars Day by playing the new Fortnite events (and encouraging poor spending habits, haha)! Kane, Davey, and I snagged a Victory Royale and a few near-podium finishes. Overall, it was better than earlier this week, but I am still not too happy with Davey...

Tried out game night with Omar's friends - actually had a good time! This game is super neat and I like the premise. I plan to show it off to Kane and Brice (hopefully we have a new game to play)!

Had a blast playing Fortnite at the Vault with Kane, Davey, and their other cousin Michael! Well, that was until Davey was a jerk... I will have to talk with him about how he treated me.

After we left the Vault, I went home and knocked out the rest of the Avatar: The Last Airbender pass. Sokka's meteor sword looked too awesome to pass up! Not sure if I am going to hop back in for awhile - got my fill for a minute, haha!

Got into some Fortnite with Brice after FFXIV! We had a bit of a time relearning the controls (well, moreso one of us, haha). The Avatar The Last Airbender themed items and quests are neat - gameplay wise and in the thing-I-recognize way. No wins but we did get 3rd once!

Farmed some Pagos bunnies and then did my dailies with Brice! PvP was a close fought match, which was nice (better than a booty stomp). However, in a level 28 leaving roulette, we had the rudest tank imaginable. Ended actually blacklisting the guy - first time either of us ever experienced such goofiness. Well, that is what happens when a game gets more popular, haha!

Kane wanted to meet up but Lauren and I were out on a date - so we played Halo instead! Wasn't the best night for us (we both kinda stunk). There was one game where I went crazy but we still lost, haha! Regardless, it was nice that he reached out. It's probably because he's going to have a kid and wants to enjoy what little free time he has left...

Played a couple of rounds of Halo 3 with Kane - did fairly well even though we got rocked, hehe. I do feel like I am improving at multiplayer games in general. It seems like my confidence is growing or I am starting to hit the threshold of I have played enough so I start to pick up on things intuitively. Although, there are still surprises to be found - like seeing Davey banned after getting 5 no scopes with a sniper, being called a cheater, and having a plus 3 K/D...

Kane and I switched over to Halo but only for a little bit - the tornados interrupted our plans yet again! Oh well, they were okay and so were we, so that is all that matters.

Kane and I played briefly in some ranked matches - we did pretty alright and it bumped me into Platinum 1! Plus, it was cool seeing the Korra stuff, but I wish it had been Aang, haha!

Good mix between solo Fortnite and playing with Kane (even though Kane did not stick around for long). Played a lot of Ranked and am now super close to breaking into Gold 3!

Had a blast gaming with Kane! Got in a bunch of Halo 3 games and I did not do too terrible - finished top three most matches!

Played Fortnite in person at The Vault! It was slightly cringe but still had a blast with Davey and Kane. I did not appreciate how mean they were to some kids that came and talked to us, though... We need to be positive role models for the younger generation, not dismiss them.

Kane and I switched over to play some modded Reach! This cursed Halo mod added a ton of wild weapons and general craziness to the Reach campaign. Instead of sprinting forward, you run backward - you could use an Xbox 360 as a weapon. My favorite thing was seeing Kat physically mount herself onto the Warthog turret and spin violently as I shot lasers!

Got my inner gamer on with Kane and Davey, haha! We did a little ranked, but our only Victory Royale came from an unranked lobby. Kane and I also talked a lot about how Brice is acting strange - I hope Brice was just having an off day and my best friend talks to me again...

Kane and I played some of the new season - we did alright but I did not play the best... We still finished top 10 most matches! I'm not the best at these shooters, if I am being honest. I hope that doesn't bother Kane too much. It was fun just getting to chat and play - heard about his lackluster visit to a sanitarium, a trip saved by the experience driving to and returning from the 'haunted' tour. I am glad he and Brook were alright. Alright, going to try and not play this the rest of the week unless asked.

Ran through some daily roulettes with Bruce - had a blast! Worked on some Beast Tribe Quests and farmed some Happy Bunnies to get more gil.

Made some UI changes to my HUD - looks so much better now! Enjoyed running some dailies and catching up with Brice. I miss our Final Fantasy Fridays, I hope we can start those up again!

Knocked out some Guildheists with Brice, purchased the last mount from the Moogle Tomestone event, and went on a fishing trip with my buddy. Brice also showed me a website that makes a To-Do List in FFXIV which is super handy. We went apartment hopping in my building and saw some cool things and frightening things, all of which inspired me to redo my apartment. I also got one of my last pieces of glamour for my Red Mage without grinding the trial.

Finished the Eden trials with Brice tonight - it was great! There were parts of Gaia's self-discovery that resonated with me, Brice would be the equivalent of Ryne in my life, haha! Truthfully, he and Lauren are the reasons I discovered the real Chris.

Hopped on for some buddy time with Brice! We did the Valentine's event and two of the last chunks of Eden raids. I am digging the story and what they did with Gaia (did not expect that bombshell). Next time we will finish up Eden, and then I can start hunting for my glamour pieces >:)
